Coverix Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 8, 2025

1) Who we are

BindIQ, LLC d/b/a Coverix ("Coverix," "we," "us") provides AI-powered call handling for insurance workflows. Contact: privacy@coverix.ai. Mailing address: One Kendall Square, Building 200, Suite B2201, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA.

2) Scope of this Policy

This Policy explains how we handle personal information when Coverix acts as a controller, such as when you visit our websites, receive marketing from us, interact with sales or support, or otherwise engage with us as a business contact.

When Coverix processes personal data on behalf of a business customer within our call‑handling services, Coverix acts as a processor, and that processing is governed by our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) with the customer (the customer's privacy notice applies to their end users). This Policy does not apply to that processor context except where expressly stated.

3) Information we collect

  • Contact information: name, work email, phone, company.
  • Website & product telemetry: device/browser information, IP address, pages visited, events, and similar data from cookies or similar technologies.
  • Communications: support requests, survey responses, feedback, and related correspondence. We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories in this context.

4) How we use information

  • Provide, secure, and improve our websites and business operations.
  • Communicate about product updates, security notices, events, and administrative matters.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5) Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, we rely on legitimate interests, performance of a contract, and consent (for certain marketing/cookies) to process personal data.

6) Sharing

We use service providers to host, communicate, analyze, and support our sites and back‑office systems. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

7) Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics, and to remember preferences. Where required, we will present a consent banner and honor your selections.

8) Your choices & rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object/restrict certain processing. You can: - Unsubscribe from marketing via the link in any marketing email. - Submit a privacy request at privacy@coverix.ai. If you are an end user of a Coverix customer, please direct requests to that controller; we assist them under our DPA.

9) Data retention

We retain controller‑context data for as long as necessary to provide websites and business services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. For processor data (customer call workflows), retention and deletion are governed by the DPA and customer instructions (including deletion within specified time frames after termination where Coverix hosts data).

10) International transfers

If we transfer personal information internationally, we apply appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, the UK IDTA/Addendum.

11) Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and vulnerability management. Additional measures for processor activities are described in Annex 1 of our DPA.

12) Children

Our services and sites are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect such information.

13) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
